portfolio
Hey look, it’s a portfolio! This is some of my work that I like. You’ll also find some links to sites that I’ve done code work on, if you’re into that kind of thing. Myself, I’m a bit of a nerd about html, css, and semantic web design.
Design
Arbor Links
A site concept that for a small golf course – very photography driven, with as much real estate as possible devoted to showing off the beauty of the course, the area around it, and the clubhouse.
Rocky Boots
This concept was a lot of fun to work on, conceptually as much as visually. There was a huge amount of thought put into the boot selector and what it would/should feature, and I dug through mountains of pages of shoe types and different UI ideas in the process of designing.
Standard Golf Flagstick Builder
The Standard Golf Flagstick Builder allows course owners and, well, anyone who wants their own flagsticks (and really, who doesn’t?), to customize the design and type and see the changes as they go. It had to be small, lightweight, and intuitive for the user to navigate. Sliding menus reveal each set of options, so it’s easy to switch back and forth and try out different combinations.
Rainbird Newsletter Archive
Rainbird needed a place to house their archive of newsletter stories, that would be simple and sleek and fit within their graphic standards. This design used a small color pallet that stayed true to the Rainbird brand, yet still divided the content so it was easy to recognize and use.
Osmocote
An early rendition of osmocoteisbest.com, that relied much more heavily on the purple than the final design – it was a little too bright for the client’s tastes, so it ended up toned down quite a bit, but I admit I had an affection for the boldness of that much purple.
Code

CSS/HTML: Pretty darn awesome
