Right now, every time I open the refrigerator there is an entire tub of cookie dough staring me in the face. It’s just not nice.

But hey, we got groceries today, and thank god. The problem with living with roommates, and splitting food, is that sometimes we run out and nobody has time to coordinate what everyone thinks we need and go shopping. The last couple days have been rough, trying to eat healthy and get enough protein when our food choices are down to frozen brats, frozen meatballs, mac and cheese, and the like. We have eggs, but a person can only eat so many eggs.

So I didn’t really eat enough today, especially not enough protein-wise, so Chest & Back was rough. I felt like I was running on empty the entire time, but I did manage to finish – more than I thought I would be able to do when I started. So lesson learned – eat the eggs, no matter how nasty they sound. ugh.

Actually I just put in an order for some Shakeology and a bunch of protein bars, so those will probably be my breakfast of choice. Because I hate breakfast. At least if it’s something chocolate-like then I might be able to bear it. The order, incedentally, was also delayed because of coordinating the aforementioned roommates (myself equally to blame). Ordering things together makes great economic sense, it’s just more challenging logistically.

But overall, I lost two more pounds last week despite the questionable food choices that occured (campus union sbarro, I’m looking at you). That brings the grand total to six, and more than that a six pound loss that feels sustainable, unlike when I just forget to eat for a day.
